WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Data analytics | Lead the development and sustainability of digital reporting solutions such as dashboards and reports, in partnership with H.R. and technical developers, ensuring the effective visualization of operational, business, and clinical results
· Manage multiple projects that focus on the development and ongoing suitability of digital solutions that meet user requirements and that are organized, logical, intuitive, user-friendly, and interactive
· Collaborate and coach parties of interest to properly identify, define, standardize, develop, and/or modify user requirements, including constraints/gaps as well as prioritization sequence
· Develop, implement, and/or support project plans to map, pull, standardize, and consolidate data within a data repository for multiple lines of business
· Conduct and facilitate quality checks, QA, and user acceptance testing and change assessments ensuring new/revised digital and data solutions are aligned with strategic initiatives and meet user requirements
· Remain up-to-date with technological and data visualization techniques allowing for the provision of expert advice and leadership in the translation and alignment of user requirements and organization direction into solutions
· Train and provide post-implementation support to end users ensuring needs are met, enabling a high adoption rate, and capturing future iteration ideas
Data reporting | Provide data required by internal and/or external partners ensuring reporting timelines are adhered to
· Develop and update the reporting schedule and cadence
· Work with internal teams to address data quality and/or integrity issues, including data sources, derived data, and data definitions
· Build, generate, and utilize reports from People-data systems (e.g., Taleo, PeopleSoft) and other systems
· Collect data and ensuring reporting format is adhered to
· Identify opportunities to streamline and/or automate the reporting process
Data analysis and storytelling | Conduct in-depth data analysis and blend data analysis results – from both available and derived data points – and qualitative subject matter expertise to collect observations, and insights and connect them to recommendations and discussions aimed at actioning sustainable performance results
· Skilled at breaking complex problems into smaller, manageable pieces and actionable deliverables
· Create impactful visuals and messaging of observations and insights enabling end users to make informed decisions leading to performance awareness and sustainable improvements
· Assess program and performance outcomes
· Act as a resource on day-to-day decision-making and improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing data, and sharing identified insights in an easy-to-digest manner
· Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills that support the ability to analyze situations and identify data quality issues, patterns, and options
Data champion | Grow organizational data analytics capabilities and data literacy across the organization through the use of reports, dashboards, analysis results, and performance metrics
· Coach and mentor colleagues across the organization on data literacy (e.g., reading data, working with data, communicating data, etc.) through interactive discussions and the development of engaging learning content
· Be a strong and effective communicator who delights in training, coaching, and transferring knowledge in both virtual and in-person environments
· Be a trusted advisor to support and provide guidance on the growth of the Decision Support function, including data governance and stewardship
WHAT YOU BRING:
Qualifications
· Post-secondary education in human resources, people management, business, data analytics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, social studies, or equivalent experience
· 7 years of experience in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and digital solution development and implementation, with an emphasis on human resources data
· Proficiency in data manipulation, reporting, analysis, and visualization tools and methodologies
· Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
· Proficiency in human resources processes, metrics, and related software such as PeopleSoft and Taleo
· Comfortable with building/using queries (i.e., SQL) and performing data audit/integrity exercises to ensure data accuracy
· Exceptional ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects (e.g., ranging from a one-time analysis to a full digital solution) of various scopes and competing priorities
· Adaptable to fast-paced, ambiguous scenarios
· Skillful in the application of adult learning theory
· Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
· Excels in working and leading from a work-from-home environment – dedicated wowing team members
Assets
· Familiarity with MicroStrategy
· Graduate-level education in a related field
· Project Management certification (PMP) or experience
· Change Management certification or experience
· Experience within healthcare
