Facilities Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to coordinate all aspects of our leased facilities, Primary focused on office relocations and construction builds including office-to-office moves, internal moves, re-organizations, new office facilities for satellite offices and clinic locations. Will also be involved in day to day monitoring and resolution of issues that are reported through the Facilities ticketing system. Will report to the Director of Facilities and Procurement.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Director of Facilities and Procurement to manage and maintain office standards for Saint Elizabeth Health Cares leased premises (50+ locations across Canada)

  • Project manage the internal and external project teams at SEHC as it relates to the facilities projects

  • Create, develop and issue RFP/ RFQs for vender selection as they relate to office construction projects

  • Work with SEHC designers to insure all floors plans are kept current

  • Project manage internal moves within the Corporate office and Service Delivery Centers. 

  • Order furniture and coordinate delivery, as required.

  • Maintain lease database

  • Work with Regional directors and senior team members to implement new office standards

  • Lead offsite projects and site visits/inspections, working with General Contractors/ Designers/ vendors to ensure project is on track and status reports are provided to Management.

  • File charitable property tax rebate annually.

  • Assist with occupancy costs for operating plans.

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma with 3 to 5 years’ experience in property management, facilities, construction or project management.

  • Experience in coordination of large-scale office moves.

  • Proficiency in using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with internal and external resources.

  • The ability to multi-task while demonstrating a high level of adaptability, initiative and flexibility.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A vehicle, valid drivers license and the ability to travel, as needed.

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize a project management framework.

  • Experience with internal cabling systems and a working knowledge of IS IT infrastructure systems.

  • This is a 1 year contract
