We are looking for a Senior Manager, BI & Digital Transformation to help shape and achieve the analytics and transformation goals of SE. Reporting to Head, Digital Enablement, the successful candidate will be responsible to coach & lead a high performing BI team to become instrumental in supporting reporting and analytics needs of the organization. In additional you will help advise on and lead various other digital transformation initiatives in the organization. You will bring your expertise in data, analytics, digital and leadership to help deliver great data and digital solutions.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Be the point of contact and voice of data in the organization – helping business solve their challenges through data solutions (from simple reports to complex data applications)

  • Manage, coach and lead the team of BI developers, architects and system administrators

  • Instill culture of building solutions based on best practices in the BI team

  • Accountable to manage and deliver on data solutions requests and projects

  • Maintain backlog of business requests around data solutions – define process to effectively collaborate with business to understand requirements, communicate and manage priorities

  • Create an environment of learning and growth in the team

  • Bring industry expertise to help shape and inform the various solutions team is building – or the business is envisioning

  • Collaborate with the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) team members to understand and advise on the various digital strategy initiatives

  • Bring the ‘getting things done’ mindset to the table – as it relates to existing or upcoming projects in the roadmap

  • Collaborate with IS and DTO to lead and manage various digital transformation projects – as an when required

  • Build, maintain, and enhance a comprehensive data strategy for SE – setting it up for future success and challenges

  • Maintain and enhance capability roadmap of BI in SE – incorporating new technologies, concepts to tackle the use cases of today and tomorrow

  • Keep up with learning new advancement in data and digital technologies to help shape the future of data and digital in SE

  • Maintain excellent relationships with cross department stakeholders

  • Accountable in SE to ensure all data solutions and BI systems are operating as per expectations – be the point contact to lead the root cause and resolution in case of issues

  • Strong accountability, communication skills and is a good leader & team player

  • Participates in formal development and training

  • Maintain business acumen to fulfill the role

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science Degree, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Business Management

  • At least 7 years of professional experience involving building data / digital solutions to solve business problems

  • At least 4 years of experience directly managing and building a high performing team

  • Strong knowledge and experience in data and analytics solutions (MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, other databases, etc.)

  • Genuine interest in bleeding/leading edge analytics technologies

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated, ability to take direction and work independently

  • Ability to lead the team to accomplish goals on time and work well in a team environment

  • Passionate to learn and help make a change in the healthcare industry through innovation

  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence

  • Great to have

    • Knowledge and hands on experience with SSIS

    • MicroStrategy platform knowledge

    • Experience in developing or using APIs to manage data in MicroStrategy

    • Custom development / programming knowledge and experience

    • Agile based delivery

    • Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Office products
