Nursing at SE Health

I’ve been nursing at SE Health for a decade and it’s an honour to be part of an organization that creates positive changes in health care through excellence and innovation. With SE Health’s Tuition Assistance Program, I’ve earned numerous specialized certificates and always receive encouragement and support to train in new areas. I believe wholeheartedly that community nursing is the future and that SE Health is the place to be.

Nursing is special at SE Health because we promote a culture of caring, support and growth. A nurse is a lifelong learner and SE Health recognizes this and opens the door to opportunities for personal and professional growth. SE Health is special because we honour and respect our people, which is why almost 22 years later, I’m still here, still learning, and growing.

At SE Health, the voice of nursing is exemplified at every level of the organization. From the role of the visiting/shift nurse to people in educational, practice and operational roles, SE Health values its nurses.
