WHAT WE DO:

The Business Transformation team identifies and addresses opportunities for improvement within the Operations portfolio (national scope) and provides support to field, regional, and home office teams. We specialize in the use of innovation and creativity in making sustainable transformation and change.

As the Decision Support Lead, you will be part of the forefront of our organization’s journey towards data-driven excellence. In this pivotal role, you’ll orchestrate the transformation of raw data into actionable insights, driving operational efficiency, and enhancing the lives of our clients, caregivers, and staff.

As our trusted analytics advisor, you’ll wield your expertise to craft compelling narratives from complex datasets, empowering teams with the knowledge needed to drive informed decision-making. Your strategic insights will fuel innovation, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

DATA ANALYTICS | Drive the growth of organizational data analytics capabilities

  • Develop visually stunning, and user friendly, digital solutions such as dashboards and reports
  • Focus on user experience ensuring that data becomes not just a tool but a source of inspiration for our teams
  • Actively engage with parties of interest to ensure requirements are clearly known and defined
  • Develop and implement project plans to map, pull, and/or consolidate data within a data repository

DATA ANALYSIS AND STORYTELLING | Utilize your analytical prowess to dissect complex problems and distill them into actionable insights

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that support the ability to analyze situations and identify data quality issues, patterns, and options
  • Skillful at breaking complex problems into smaller, actionable pieces and manageable deliverables
  • Able to blend quantitative data and qualitative subject matter expertise to collect insights and develop innovative solutions that meet stakeholder requirements
  • Create impactful visuals and messaging of observations and insights gleaned from data analysis

DATA CHAMPION | Take a lead role in identifying and addressing our organization’s evolving data needs

  • Be a trusted advisor to support and provide guidance on the growth of the Decision Support function, including data governance and stewardship
  • Focus on increasing organizational data literacy
  • Strong and engaging communicator of observations and insights
  • Effective communicator who delights in training, coaching, and transferring knowledge in both virtual and in-person environments

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business, data analytics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, social studies, or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of experience in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and digital solution development and implementation
  • Demonstrated leadership within a Decision Support team, with a focus on strategy development and performance measurement
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, reporting, analysis, and visualization tools and methodologies
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with building/using queries (i.e., SQL) and performing data audit/integrity exercises to ensure data accuracy
  • Exceptional ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects (e.g., ranging from a one-time analysis to a full digital solution) of various scopes and competing priorities
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, ambiguous scenarios
  • Skillful in the application of adult learning theory
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excels in working and leading from a work-from-home environment – dedicated wowing team members

Assets

  • Familiarity with MicroStrategy
  • Graduate-level education in a related field
  • Project Management certification (PMP) or experience
  • Change Management certification or experience
  • Experience within healthcare
