Position Summary:

SE Health is currently seeking a Full-Stack Developer for our Finance technology division within the Information Services team.

Engaged in all phases of the application support and development lifecycle, the Developer, IS-Finance would be responsible for responding to outages, designing, testing, documenting, and implementing new solutions for our dynamic internal customer base in Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Uses advanced applications programming concepts to resolve business issues

  • Regularly works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

  • Provides technical solutions to business challenges & translates them into process/technical solutions

  • Creates, updates, and edits technical design specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements

  • Responsible for the design, development, and delivery of various Finance application development components, including reports, interfaces, conversions, and implementation of custom solutions

  • Designs, plans, tests, and implements remediation's which meet functional and technical specifications of financial applications & processes

  • Work with the following stacks: Microsoft Azure (DevOps, C#), REST, Containers, Angular (or similar front-end frameworks), along with MS SQL and NoSQL DB systems

  • Design and implement scalable web service APIs

  • Conducts Unit testing and resolve issues found in testing

  • Meets deadlines and manages multiple, dynamic priorities

  • Effectively communicates and demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree

  • 4+ years full stack engineering experience in a production environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure software delivery tools

  • Expert programming skills in C#, .Net, MS SQL database tools, Integration tools

  • Ability to write technical documentation in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong SQL/ Query Knowledge

  • Ability to write technical documentation in a clear and concise manner

  • Experience in data integration and the specification of data services

Nice to Have:

  • Healthcare / Finance Domain experience

  • ESB low code workflow development experience

  • Dell Boomi knowledge

Skills/Competencies:

  • Exceptional attention to detail with proven problem-solving abilities

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new technologies & processes

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment

  • Proficiency in Software Development Best Practices (SCM / Unit Tests)

  • Deployed enterprise software into a Production Environment

  • Ability to work flexible hours

This is a hybrid role and would require travel to our Markham office on an as needed basis

This role is a 2.5 yr. project with a potential to be a permanent position. The role would be eligible for medical and dental benefits, vacation and after 1 yr., pension and education reimbursement as per SE benefit plan.
