POSITION SUMMARY:
Working at our Service Delivery Centre based in Hamilton, this position will be responsible as an on-site office support, greeting/supporting staff, leaders and external partners, and supply ordering and records management for the creation, collection, maintenance, organization and filing of client records.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Records Management:
- Maintaining and track records of admissions and discharges
- Preparing client records for new admissions
- Collection of client records after discharge
- Follow up and tracking of missing client records
- Filing of client charts; organizing, maintaining and storing filing boxes
- Transfer of closed client records to storage
- Retrieval of charts when necessary
- Circulating client charts and maintaining lists of charts in circulation
- Completing discharge activities, including data entry of discharge information
Other Administrative Duties as required:
- In the office support to greet/support staff, leaders and external partners
- Supply ordering and stocking of supplies
- Provide records management training if/when required
- Perform Mask Fit and update results in records management system.
- Part of Joint Health & Safety- complete monthly office, fire extinguisher and first aid inspections.
- Assist therapy team with requests
- Equipment calibration
- Track and order therapy supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Efficient filing and records management skills
- Proficiency with computer and data entry skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Understanding of medical records management including the importance of privacy
- Previous related experience is preferred
