About the Role: Are you an ambitious, detail-oriented person looking to kick-start your career in project management? We're searching for a dynamic Project Coordinator to join our team for a large digital transformation project. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a large-scale transformation initiative, supporting a user base of over 20,000 staff. You'll work closely with our dedicated project team to support smooth execution of project tasks.

Employment Type: 18-month contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the Senior Project Manager and Change Manager, including scheduling meetings, sending out email communications, and taking meeting minutes.
  • Assist with drafting and editing project communications for various stakeholders in various formats.
  • Coordinate basic tasks and ensure timelines are met for key deliverables.
  • Support the project team by organizing and maintaining documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support logging and tracking items in our project management tool. 
  • Help track project milestones and compile progress reports.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency in repeatable project tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail. Experience working on formal communications projects like a school newspaper or blog is preferred.
  • Have a “think outside the box” approach to problem solving coupled with an “I can figure this out” approach to learning new tools and technology. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams. Experience with Monday.com is an asset but not required.
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
