JOB SUMMARY:
The Risk Management Central (RMC) project requires a Director, Integrated Risk Management & Technology to lead key risk management and operational change management priorities, as well as drive a technology solution (RL6) upgrade and enhancement initiative.
This role requires a senior-level resource who has demonstrated experience and competencies in process re-engineering, collaborative change management, cross-functional project management /implementation, and technology solution development and deployment. In addition it requires excellent communication and problem solving skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management
Manage the planning, implementation and technical upgrade of the RL6 solution within the primary care or clinical information management environments
Collaborate with the existing vendor project manager on project planning
Develop and ensure all project tasks are completed as per the project plan
Manage all project-related change control procedures, including those tasks which are outside the scope of the project
Responsible for project documentation and artifacts (e.g. business processes, requirements, gap analysis, risk/issues management, executive presentations/dashboard/reporting artifacts, governance documentation, integrated project plan)
Actively engage in project cycle (familiarity with Agile, Waterfall and/or hybrid methodologies)
Manage project budget
Change and Process Transformation Management
Lead (or support) and drive key change management and business readiness planning and execution across the relevant SE landscape (changes to risk management operational processes, structures, roles/responsibilities, etc.)
Work closely with User groups, existing and new System Administrator and Technical Project Resource (IT) to understand, translate, validate and align business requirements and present them to project team/leadership business users and IT professionals
Manage / lead business and functional requirements development, business systems development, integration, or implementation projects
Stakeholder Management, Risk, Issues Management and Problem Solving
Provide strong/collaborative leadership and discipline to broad teams comprised of SE Business, Clinical, IT, Data, Legal and Compliance stakeholders'
Act as the primary point of contact for the project and team
Resolve project bottlenecks
Escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders for resolution
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated experience in operations, risk management and compliance within the health care (home care, seniors living) industry
Proven competency and experience leading and/or managing process-based change initiatives across multiple operational areas and teams
8-10 years' experience in IT with a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager
University Degree in healthcare, nursing, business or computing sciences
PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an asset
Experience with Project Management methodologies such as PMBOK, ITIL, Agile, etc.
Strong vendor / client management and stakeholder management skills are mandatory
Proven experience in managing large software development projects
Proven experience managing / leading large projects, workshops and meeting facilitation
Proven experience in business analysis, workflow analysis and / or business process engineering
Experience building strong working relationships with senior business leaders
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong organizational and planning skills

Experience implementing projects in a large enterprise environment
Technical Project / Program Management experience in working with Infrastructure and Application specialists
Experience with upgrade projects (on prem to SAAS) preferred
