JOB SUMMARY:  

 

The Strategy Business Analyst is a key contributor to high-impact strategic initiatives and complex projects that drive organizational priorities and growth. This role involves analyzing business challenges, developing actionable recommendations, and supporting the execution of diverse projects across multiple functions. Responsibilities include structuring problems, applying critical thinking, and leveraging data-driven insights to inform decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and can manage ambiguity while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

You will have the opportunity to work on and support our team with a range of exciting projects. This role supports strategic initiatives by providing analytical, project, and stakeholder support under the guidance of senior leaders. It offers exposure to enterprise-level strategy while focusing on execution, analysis, and learning. Responsibilities will be matched with assigned projects (the following are some examples):

  1. Strategic Project Support
    1. Assist in gathering inputs and supporting leadership in defining objectives, scope, and success metrics for strategic initiatives.
    2. Structure complex problems into clear, actionable components and develop frameworks for analysis under guidance of senior team members
  2. Data Analysis & Insight Generation
    1. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to inform project decisions.
    2. Support analysis and help summarize findings into clear and fact-based insights for decision-making
  3. Critical Thinking & Solution Design
    1. Apply critical thinking to evaluate business challenges, identify root causes, and support the development of solution options.
    2. Assess trade-offs and risks to inform recommendations and ensure feasibility.
  4. Business Case Development
    1. Assist in preparing business cases for new initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, and resource requirements under the direction of senior team members.
    2. Support developing recommendations with clear rationale and related evidence.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    1. Co-ordinate with teams across Finance, Operations, Digital, and other functions to support alignment and delivery.
    2. Support developing materials for workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather input.
  6. Project Execution & Monitoring
    1. Support project teams in problem-solving and decision-making during execution phases.
    2. Provide analytical inputs to address challenges and maintain momentum.
    3. Support coordination of project activities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
    4. Track progress, flag risks, and maintain accurate reporting.
  7. Communication & Presentation
    1. Prepare working-level and executive-level presentations and reports that clearly articulate insights, recommendations, and progress updates.
    2. Communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to support informed decision-making.
  8. Continuous Improvement
    1. Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency
    2. Research and share best practices and lessons learned across projects to strengthen team capabilities.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ø  Bachelor’s degree in business management, Economics, Data Analysis, or related field. MBA or progress toward an advanced degree is a plus.

Ø  Demonstrated working experience in business analysis, strategy, or project-based roles of at least two-three years as a Business Analyst in similar industry (healthcare).

Ø  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Ø  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and workshops, and present insights clearly to stakeholders.

Ø  Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

Ø  Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders across departments.

Ø  Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn across a variety of projects and business areas.

Ø  Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

We use AI to take notes during our interview.  All applications and interviews are reviewed by our Talent Acquisition team. This role is a replacement position. The pay range is $58,000 – $73,000 annually, based on experience.
