Project Summary
The Future of Work Innovation & Evaluation Intern will support the SE Solutions Lab in implementing and evaluating multiple pilot projects designed to improve the workforce experience at SE Health.
Key focus areas include:
- Financial Well-Being: Microloans and other solutions to support staff financial security
- Caregiver Support: Programs such as Respite for All to support staff caregiving responsibilities
- Workforce Housing: Initiatives that improve access to affordable housing for health workers
- Transportation Solutions: Pilots to enhance mobility and access for frontline teams
This role emphasizes hands-on implementation, light-touch evaluation, and synthesis of insights to inform decisions about scaling, refining, or redesigning pilot initiatives. It is ideal for students interested in future of work, workforce sustainability, program evaluation, and systems-level change.
Responsibilities
The intern will work closely with the Solutions Lab and project leads to:
- Support implementation of Future of Work pilot projects, including coordination and tracking of progress
- Conduct research on best practices, benchmarks, and standards relevant to workforce innovation and social impact
- Assist with evaluation activities, including collecting, synthesizing, and reporting data and insights
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather feedback, co-design solutions, and test approaches
- Support coordination with external partners (e.g., financial institutions, housing providers, nonprofits, and more) and synthesize partner‑level insights alongside internal feedback.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and recommendations to inform decisions on scaling or refining pilots
- Contribute creative, forward-thinking ideas to enhance workforce programs and experiences

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, Public Policy, Evaluation, or related field
- Strong interest in workforce innovation, evaluation, and social impact
- Analytical, research, and problem-solving skills to synthesize insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging diverse teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic, cross-functional environments
- Passion for improving workforce experience and sustainability
